Getting Settled In

Made it and getting settled in. I’m on the kidney/liver transplant floor so my room is huge and actually has a pullout bed! (Mom you wouldn’t believe it lol…definitely nicer than anything you’ve ever stayed on.)

Jord is headed back…he’s super tired so pray he has a safe trip home. Slowly making the room my own. 💜

Struggling with Depression??

I know there are many people that have, will, or currently are suffering from depression--many in silence. HERE is a link to a blog post I shared about my battle with depression.

I will be doing additional posts on this topic as I know it can be a daily battle for those living with chronic illness. Please know that although I may not know you or your struggle, I am praying specifically that God would heal your heart and if you don't know Jesus, use your depression to drive you to Himself. If you do know Jesus, don't be ashamed to admit you are depressed. I remember thinking, "I'm a CHRISTIAN...I shouldn't be depressed....what in the world is wrong with me???" Friend, you are not alone! Know that there are many prayers ascending to the throne of grace to find mercy and help in time of need on your behalf! Hugs!
